Cupcakes - Hello Kitty 2

Sam's wife is a huge fan of Hello Kitty. He loves his wife so much that he selected the theme for the cupcakes to be Hello Kity. I figured that if the theme is Hello Kitty, I wanted to make sure that everything is of Hello Kitty. Take a closer look, you will find Hello Kitty designs on the cup itself!!

It was Carol's graduation and I wanted to make a huge grand cake for her but due to overwhelming orders nearing her graduation day, I could only manage to whip up one small cute cupcake for her. Sorry, Carol...Jie Jie promise to do a nicer one for you next year for your degree convocation!!

Doing mahjong tiles caake is indeed a great challenge, especially when I am unable to read or write chinese characters. Nonetheless, I still have to come up with these. The 'Cai' word is one of the toughest though.

Cake - 21st Birthday

Lina approached me and wanted me to do a really nice birthday cake for her beloved sister, Lian Shi. It was tough as she has no theme, no favourite colour and just wanted a KEY. She wanted a combination of a cake and cupcakes....which makes things even more challenging. Creating a design for this took awhile and I finally came up with this.

I figured that most people would love yummy ice cream sundae and since Lian Shi's actual birthdate was 14 Feb (Valentine's day), I throw in some hearts. It so happen that her outifit that night matches the purple hearts!
